It counts with the help of Miguel Couto on drums and José Alencar on the key board…
What makes this song so special to me was the fact that when it was recorded (2001) I realy lacked the condition of a sweet studio as I got today. We joke with a pro-verb in portuguese saying ” we really got milk out of a rock…”
Hope you dig this sound that belongs to my 1st independent record (PsYco FrEe)
Psyco Free
Posted in Psyco Free with tags Add new tag, Audio Production, Brazilian Music, Guitar Player, Latin Funk Jazz on August 17, 2008 by Pat AnnequinThis is a fusion of rythms that goes from the afro to disco, fron the jazz to rock, the funk to indian sonorities… Has this record been produced by myself this gave me the opportunity to blend two ways of playing and recording. One is live in studio playing totally “free” as our old fellow Ornete Coleman and the other, recorded on overdubs trying to please in an overall way. Just to consolidate this record is full of improvises. We hope you enjoy this work thoroughly that was made in my opinion with good style.
