Pat Annequin was born on Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 9, 1981. Although he is French-Brazilian…. “Native and proud, gypsy outloud!!!” Raised among musician’s family, started playing drums at age 12… Studied with Jorge Ben Jor’s Drumer, Gustavão… At age 13 picked the guitar…. And started producing and recording at age 15 when bought his 1st 4 track analog recorder by himself learning a little bit here a little bit there….. Since then studied guitar with many masters such as, Fabio Esteves (played with Rosana), attended the Musiarte Jazz School and completed theoretical music course with a degree in functional harmony with Isidoro Kutno (Angela RoRo, Berklee graduated and director of Musiarte), Rodrigo Russano (Uni-Rio Master) Pepe Barcellos (G.I.T. graduated). And was already playing on tv at age 17…. On musical production, 2001 studied and certified on “Home Studio” Recording and Edition tec. on PC with Sérgio Izecksohn and on 2002 studied and certified with Florência Saravia on Rio Musica for pro-tools rec. tec. As well as being pupil of Master Mário (Som Livre greatest Sound Engineer of all times….) Pat along all this time, has played as well as produced many bands (such as: The Aqua Men, Necrose Social, Aliança Incorruptível, Bacodelía, Café Funque, Jazz Tats, Ordinário Groove Trio, Cafusa, Modulo Tranco, Seu Pires E Seus Copos, Cisco Trio, Lady Acid Experience, Alex Roots “Indegruve” and many more….) His 1st solo instrumental record called “Psyco Free” all produced by himself was done at age 22, and recieved great critics from Radio Mec Director, J Carlos, and from TV Globo Director Mariozinho Rocha….
